Lura H. Bechtel, Q. Arb., FCIArb., is an independent arbitrator and experienced New York-licensed lawyer based in Toronto with 20 years of substantive experience in executive compensation, employment disputes, litigation and commercial transactions. She has particular expertise in the financial services industry and US-Canadian cross-border matters. She is a roster arbitrator for the US Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP) and ADRIC. Ms. Bechtel is the co-chair of the International Committee of the American Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section.
