Legal Experience

Mr. Jin is legal expert of international recognition with his numerous publications in eight countries and regions: China, USA, UK, France, Italy, Australia, Austria, and Hong Kong. He taught international business law and tax law courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the capacity of an associate professor of law in China between 2002 and 2009, and worked as an adjunct professor of law at an ABA-accredited law school in San Diego, California, USA, between 2008 and 2012, in its LLM in Taxation program.
In his legal practice he mainly worked as in-house counsel of large multinational corporations. On his list of clientele one can find an Oscar-winning film actress and an A-lister movie director of international reputation. He has, through more than two decades of legal research and practice, gained a profound understanding of both Canadian and Chinese contract laws, consumer protection law, unfair trading practices, as well as international commercial law. He is good at resolving complicated legal issues and disputes involving multiple jurisdictions.
In respect of commercial arbitration, he focuses on real estate disputes, esp. disputes over the purchase and sale of new residential properties in Ontario, commercial leases, and private loans.
Mr. Jin is fluent in both English and Chinese mandarin.
