Arbitration Experience:Charles Harnick was called to the Bar in the Province of Ontario in 1977. He practised civil litigation with the firm of Feigman and Chernos. He was designated a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1991 and was appointed a Queen’s Counsel in 1992. Between 1995 & 1999 Mr. Harnick served as Attorney General of Ontario and the Minister Responsible for Native Affairs. Since 1999 Mr. Harnick has been a Chief Negotiator of Native Land Claims for the Government of Canada; he has served as a director on public and not-for-profit corporate boards; he is a founding principal of Counsel Public Affairs; and, he received the Law Society Medal (LSM) in 2005. Mr. Harnick continues to practice as a mediator and arbitrator with Yorkstreet Dispute Resolution Group Inc.
