Marina is a Qualified Arbitrator with the ADR Institute of Canada.
Marina completed the Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society Gold Standard Course in Commercial Arbitration and also Canadian Labour Relations studies, including in Canadian labour arbitration.
Marina began her career in the field of science (chemistry and physics) and also majored in psychology. She pursued a career as a commercial and litigation legal counsel in private practice and in-house.
Marina has over 20 years of experience in business law and a range of commercial disputes, dealing with complex multi-million-dollar disputes including, contractual (comprising shareholder and partnership disputes), intellectual property (patents, design rights, copyright law and licensing disputes), insolvency, technology, supplier procurement agreement, distribution agreement, product liability and employment law disputes.
She is experienced in domestic and international arbitrations (ad hoc and under the institutional rules).
Marina is fluent in both English and French.
